How it works

For businesses or arts and cultural organisations

Workshops at your place of work for up to ten people last three hours, including a tea break. They’re fun, active and practical. Everyone takes a set of hand-outs back to their desk – as well as my email address for two weeks’ online mentoring. Choose from off-the-shelf modules:  writing clearly and effectively or writing expressively and persuasively.

Or I can create a bespoke workshop or training programme for you, either to write for a particular function, such as social media, exhibitions or web, or to deal with specific issues you have. Contact me for a price and more details.

For individuals

Small, friendly and informal workshops in Bury St. Edmunds last two hours and include a tea break with home-made cake. Topics include the nuts and bolts of writing well and improving creativity and finding your voice. They cost just £25 per person.

I also run workshops for parents of young children who are thinking of starting a blog or a working-from-home business and want to write with more confidence and effectiveness – or maybe just fancy trying a bit of writing to see if they feel inspired. I run a short, one-hour, session where babies and toddlers are welcome (including a big bag of toys and child-friendly refreshments). And a longer, two-hour, session without children. The shorter workshop’s £15 per person, the longer £25 – both include email mentoring afterwards.

I offer one-on-one mentoring, either face to face or by phone or Skype – get in touch to find out more.

Look out for dates of upcoming workshops for individuals on the blog.
